specifics.

members of aropax will submit their silverchair-related deviations to the staff via email. we do not give out the account password. submitting a work to aropax means that you may not submit it to your regular account; your account will, however, be linked in the description of your deviation.

to submit a deviation, please attach it to an email with subject of "aropax submission" and send it to hipsterscene@aol.com. be sure to include the title and description you would like, as well as the address of your deviantart account. also, try to include the category you want the staff to submit the deviation as (e.g. indy art > traditional).

policy.

because of the nature of our community, there’s always the risk of an unintentional policy violation such as copyright infringement. we ask the aropax members not to use any photographs that they didn’t take themselves or that were not released as stock. drawings, paintings, and digital recreations of photos taken by a third party, however, are fine.

faq.

how do i join?
you'll need to send us a note titled "application". a staff member will then go through your gallery. if you’re accepted, you'll get a reply to your note and we'll add you to our friends list.

i was invited. what do i do now?
if you were invited to join aropax by a staff member, please reply to the note confirming whether or not you'd like to join.

what counts as a silverchair-related deviation?
anything depicting the members of silverchair or lyrics to their songs is fine. photography and indy art inspired by silverchair, but not directly related to them is acceptable as long as staff members are able to recognize the connection.

why hasn't my deviation been submitted to aropax?
the staff reserves the right to use their discretion when submitting artwork. if you've emailed a deviation to aropax that doesn't get submitted within a few days, it was rejected for either content or quality; this doesn't affect your standing as a member and we'll most likely send you a note if this happens.
